Daily Adhan respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is stored, when it may be shared, and how you can request deletion.
1. Who We Are
Daily Adhan is an Alexa skill and related website that provides prayer-time features, adhan playback, prayer settings, reminders, account management, and support tools. Contact: support@dailyadhan.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Daily Adhan Alexa skill, website, Alexa account linking setup, support pages, account deletion page, and related services.
3. Information We Collect
- Alexa user identifiers: unique Alexa user, device, application, and request identifiers needed to operate the skill.
- Account linking information: account-linking identifiers used to associate Alexa requests with a Daily Adhan profile. We do not receive your Amazon password.
- Alexa account linking profile information: account identifier and email address if you sign into the website portal and grant consent.
- Prayer preferences: madhab, calculation method, Surah Al-Kahf reminder preference, timezone, notification preferences, and related settings.
- Location-related information: if permission is granted, device address, postal code, country/region, coordinates, derived timezone, and geocoding metadata used to calculate prayer times.
- Operational and diagnostic data: request IDs, timestamps, error logs, schedule status, service metrics, and non-sensitive diagnostics.
- Support communications: information you provide when contacting support or requesting deletion.
- Donation processing: optional donations are processed by PayPal. Daily Adhan does not store full payment card details.
4. How We Use Information
- Calculate local prayer times.
- Play requested adhan audio.
- Create and update prayer notification schedules.
- Save prayer preferences and reminder settings.
- Operate account linking, Alexa account linking, Smart Home triggers, and Alexa Routines integration.
- Provide support, process deletion requests, monitor reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.
5. Alexa Permissions
Daily Adhan may request Alexa permissions for account linking, device address, and location-related data. These permissions are used only to provide prayer-time features and related settings. You can revoke permissions in the Alexa app.
6. Account Linking and Alexa account linking
Account linking connects Alexa use of Daily Adhan with your Daily Adhan profile. Alexa account linking may be used for the website portal. Your Amazon password is never shared with Daily Adhan.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
Daily Adhan does not sell personal information. We may process limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, including Amazon Alexa, Alexa account linking, secure cloud hosting providers, location/geocoding providers, email/support tools, and PayPal for optional donations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.

9. Data Storage and Security
Daily Adhan stores user settings and operational data using secure cloud infrastructure. We use access controls, secure transport, least-privilege permissions, monitoring, and logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Retention
User profile data and settings are retained while the account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Operational logs may be retained temporarily for troubleshooting, security, audit, and reliability. Backups may remain for a limited period before expiring.
11. Account Deletion and Data Requests
You can request deletion at dailyadhan.com/delete-account or by emailing support@dailyadhan.com. After verification, we will delete or de-identify Daily Adhan profile records, prayer settings, location records stored by Daily Adhan, reminder preferences, and account-linking records where reasonably possible.
12. Children’s Privacy
Daily Adhan is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children outside Amazon/Alexa account controls.
13. International Users
Information may be processed in locations where Daily Adhan or its service providers operate.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will be posted on this page.
